Dog agility combines elements from equestrian show jumping events and obstacles derived from military K9 Corps regimen. Dogs maneuver their way through a timed course designed to test their agility as they leap over hurdles, burst through tunnels, balance on a teeter - tooter, scale an A-frame, weave through a line of poles and much more. Agility is designed for dog & handler to work together as a team. Training is all positive and is run rain or shine. You will find that the relationship with your dog will grow and strengthen. Warning- agility can be addictive! How does this benefit me and my dog?
Dogs learn to work off leash and without a collar. They learn to recognize voice commands and hand signals, such as Come, Sit, Down, Here, Wait, Stay and many more.
Agility is designed for dog & handler to work together as a team. You'll both have FUN during training and, if you choose, in competition. Pet Beginner Agility For those who want to have fun with their dogs learning agility, but do not want to compete in the future. No Homework Required. Competition Beginner Agility For those who have an interest in Competing in the future. Basic Foundation work is taught to allow our dogs to advance to the higher levels of agility. Homework will be assigned and some inexpensive agility training equipment is required.

Instructor: Carol Voelker I started in the canine field when I got my first rescue dog (Denizen) in 1993. He started my research into dog training and behavior problems with the issues he had. I continued my canine eduction by getting involved in Canine Agility, and a short time later I started teaching Agility. Within 2 years I had 4 adult rescue dogs, all with different issues. I then managed a humane society for 5 years and helped new adopters with any issues their new companion may have. I use positive training methods, and feel the best training is when both you and your dog are having fun.
Open to ALL Dogs, Mixed or Pure-bred, and all Breeds. If you have any questions please email.
